I have a client who has been posted to Singapore and will be arriving in July looking to rent a 1yr lease rental serviced apartment commencing end August 2012.


I would like to enquire if you have anything suitable based on the following :



One or two bedroom with a sitting area-cum-dining facility-cum –open kitchen and a bathroom. Either a Service Apt or else a Condominium with 'near Service Apt' kind of facility  ( without  food  and bathroom supplies if that be the case )


2 BR or 1BR(if size is big)


Facilities needed: (Preferably included in one lump sum rate)
-           Broadband/Wi-Fi
-           Telephone
-           Water, Gas, Electricity
-           Breakfast ( excluding Sat or Sunday or both)
-           Housekeeping maid services ( Alternate days on weekdays and either Saturday  or Sunday, excl Public Holidays)
-           TV & TV Channels ( Mainly English and Indian Channels)
-           Shuttle bus ( specially to Standard Chartered Changi Business Park office if available)
-           English Newspaper
-           Basic Kitchen & Bathroom amenities & cutlery/utensils/oven,
-           Basic furniture/sofa set/ center table  and DVD Player etc
-           Sufficient Storage cabinets / wardrobes, mainly for clothes, suits, ties, warm clothes ( minimal)
-           Sufficient Storage cabinets for Toiletries, Shoes, Papers, CD’s/books, Working desk stationary, photos, table laptop & speakers, knick knacks , 7-8 suitcases
-           Working desk
-           Bed linens , sheets and covers etc
-           Gym usage
-           Steam., Sauna etc usage
-           Refrigerator
-           Gas oven
-           Bathroom heater
-           Shower facilities
-           Locker facility
-           Ironing Board and Iron
Budget : $4500 negotiable

As per our phone conversation, there are some options.
Firstly, serviced apartments are the best choice as they are month to month and you can choose to not renew the monthly lease if needed. Furthermore, they meet most of your criteria except morning breakfast which is usually not included.
Secondly, serviced apartments are on a first come first serve basis. Therefore, they are unable to guarantee a unit 2 months away. Also existing tenants are given the option to renew. Therefore, if there is a specific apartment you are interested in, we would need to put a booking fee to ensure a unit.
Thirdly, serviced apartments are in high demand especially around this price so the apartments may be fully tenanted. Units are subject to availability.
Around the budget, there is:
1. FORTVILLE apartments (1 bdrm)
2. VISIN apartments (2 bdrm)
3. HERITAGE/DOVERVIEW (2 bdrm)
The other apartments are more costly. Please refer to our website and indicate your interest.
